Dear Freeport Recreation & Community Education Hiring Team, 

Subject : Application for FRCE Summer Day Camp Counselor 

I am writing to express my interest in becoming a part of your team as a camp counselor for your summer day camp, as advertised through the Sunday Freeport Flyer. As a part time babysitter, I have grown a passion for contributing to children’s growth and development. In return, I have also cultivated attributes such as communication skills and patience. 

I am confident I will be a good fit for this position because I have regular experience working with around 5 children. This has taught me how to be self-motivated in many different aspects. I have learned how to think on my toes when things do go as planned and have contributed to building personable relationships with each child, which will work great within FRCE. 

I am eager to contribute to FRCE by creating an environment where children feel safe and get an equal opportunity to experience activities organized by myself with contributions from my fellow councilors. 

My schedule is open and I look forward to hearing from you and starting to articulate how I can be of service to your company.
