Proof of Work

This is The Hearts of Pine Soccer game. At this game I mainly worked as parking lot security. I learned how people and their cars have to have somewhere to go when there is an event. Something that was also cool is that if you are working the parking lots you have to facilitate all of the special people coming and leaving. The mayor of Maine came to this game and it was interesting to watch how you have to communicate clearly during that type of situation.

This is Kevin James at Merrill Auditorium. This was my first Merrill show and it proved to me how much I enjoy being at concert venues. For the first half of the concert I worked the metal detectors and checked peoples bags, which is something that I have not done before. I also got to go backstage and see how the audio technicians work and if they wanted to borrow something from the venue it will be put in the invoice at the end of the night. it is also interesting to see the percentages of how much the promoter will have to pay the venue at the end of the night.
